Eye Exam
The surgeon and his team will perform a comprehensive eye exam, discuss with you your reasons for choosing this procedure as well as your expectations, and answer any questions you may have.
Main Tests

- Measurement of ocular tension;
- Corneal topographry: analysis of the cornea’s surface;
- Pachymetry: measurement of the cornea’s thickness;
- Inner eye: examination of the retina and optic nerves;
- Abberrometry: measurement of optic aberrations (defects on the surface or with the structure of the eye);
- ORA (Ocular Response Analyzer): measures the cornea’s elasticity and viscoelasticity. This last test ensures the safety of your treatment.
These painless tests help us assess your eyes and vision. They’ll tell us if you have any contraindications to laser surgery and what the best technique is for your particular case.
Contraindications
There are few contraindications for laser surgery, some temporary, others permanent: deteriorating or changing vision, inflammation of the cornea, chronic dry eyes, etc.
